If you meet a ‘Self-made’ Millionaire, chances are that they made their millions in one of seven ways:
- A Business Owner (entrepreneur) in a growth industry i.e. communications, technology, wellness, marketing, manufacturing, law firm, media, energy, commodities etc
- A Real Estate investor – they own a property portfolio that yields an income
- A Networker – they have built a huge network and benefit from residual incomes based on sales of products or services.
- Information marketing – they sell knowledge, advice, expertise i.e. a consultant, speaker, authors.
- Intellectual property – they own the rights to various works of art including songs, literature, paintings, patents and copyrights and have made millions through royalties.
- Stock investors – they trade on the stock market and own shares in growing companies.
- An executive in the financial sector
Sports and entertainment millionaires are often the most visible and vocal but they only represent a tiny fraction of the world’s millionaires. Chances are that if you meet a self-made millionaire, they will have made their fortune in one of the seven ways listed.
Smart questions: include, where do you go to get educated in these millionaire strategies? Why is none of this education compulsory and why isn’t any of it taught in schools? Why is the entire education process designed to help you get a job working for one of these seven people?
Smart observation: If you have little or no knowledge of any of these seven strategies, you will probably not become a millionaire no matter how much you dream about financial freedom. Sadly, nothing in the system prepares you for life in the success lane. You literally have to find out for yourself. Thankfully an abundance of information exists on these subjects. Simply choose your subjects and go for it!
Smart decision: Decide to educate yourself in one or more of these seven fields so that you at least have a chance of achieving the freedoms you dream about.
